Advertising to pay for public transport

The Problem

Reduce the amount commuters have to pay to use public transport

The Social Invention

Advertising companies can pay public transport for space to put their ad campaigns on the carriages of trains, on buses and introduce more tv advertising screens in buses and trains.

The LCD screens that we see in some buses and trains can be introduced on a wider scale for all buses and trains so that this will encourage more companies to pay for space. In so doing their will be more revenue produced through advertising and therefore this will help bring down the price of travel tickets.

Subject: Bad idea!
I'm sorry to say that I think this is a bad idea. It has good intentions, however the world has far too much advertising already. I don't understand why we are not willing to pay for the services we use (individually and socially).
