Scheme to promote lifelong learning in science

  Score: 76% , 5 votes, Feasibility 76% Originality 93% Humour 20%

The Problem

lack of students taking science as a career, also offering resources that will help people from all social backgrounds to use science to fend for themselves

The Social Invention

Cosmos Media Publications was created to address the problem of the lack of public understanding about astronomy and space. Getting children to learn about science and how it affects our everyday lives is vital for the future of humanity's existence. By providing an initiative that encourages the knowledge gained from the study of science and technology to be shared with and communicated by people from all kinds of backgrounds, Cosmos hopes that by creating a platform for these resources to be shared, the technology that can be derived from areas such as space science can be used to end third world debt and poverty.

By supporting the advancement of science as a tool for the nurturing of a civilised society that cares for one another it is hoped that this initiative will address some of the issues that affect the global community.
